Hong Kong is a shopping paradise to both tourist and locals. The population density of this city makes living space a luxury; so be prepared to expect pricier rooms or apartments in comparison to living in any other country.

Depending on budget, you can choose to rent a room or share the cost of a hotel-like serviced apartment with friends or fellow schoolmates. Spending some time to look for a place to stay in before you start living in the country will save you from a lot of future inconvenience. Living in Hong Kong may be a little more expensive, but that does not mean that deals you will be comfortable with are impossible to find.
