Introduction to REDA

Raffles Education Corp collaborates with universities from Germany and Spain to give you the best of European exposure to your undergraduate education. The new European Dual Study Program is based on the success of the German education model with more than 35 years of history.

High Practical Value of the European Dual Education System

Raffles European Dual Education is 36 month Bachelor Degree program with an alternating study phases in theory and practical experience in participating companies and industries. This allows you to:

• Learn business theories the practical way by applying them in real business settings.
  Raffles will arrange for you to undergo three months of theory-studies, then three months of relevant industry exposure. To give you the perfect 50-50 balance of theory lessons and industry application, this cycle will repeat throughout the three-year course. With maximum field exposure, you will be able to build industry contacts, and be easily adaptable to future workplaces in the business industry.
• Gain first-hand experience of your future working environment.
  This program allows you to see for yourself what it is like to work in an international business. You will be sent to different multi-national companies to practice new sets of skills learnt in school. And from there, you will be able to apply your class theories. Your multi-cultural experience at work will prepare you for work or further studies. One and a half years of relevant work experience will also look good on your résumé when applying for jobs after graduation.
• Understand professional teamwork, performance, value creation, target orientation, and work ethics.
  The REDA program recognizes that there are important lessons that cannot be learnt in school. That is why equal emphasis is placed on industrial exposure. Working with a real company can help you understand many important values that make a business professional. This will ultimately develop you into someone that employers deem as a resourceful employee. And also a co-worker others enjoy working with.
• Develop corporate social skills.
  Having professional skills open the door for jobs, but having polished social skills will keep you in the job. Developing good corporate social skills is essential for your career. It allows you to spot opportunities and execute strategies for the best outcomes.

By the end of your three-year program, you will graduate with a Bachelor's Degree of Arts (Honors) in International Business with the option to major in International Marketing or Hotel & Hospitality Management. All bachelor's degrees provided by Raffles European Dual Academy are awarded by University of Alcalá in Madrid. Under the REDA program, you will receive 210 ECT with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Degree in International Business upon graduation.

What is ECT?

ECT (European Credit Transfer) is part of the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) used in Europe. You will use ECT points earned in school when you are choosing and planning European study programs abroad. These credit points will allow you to gain entry into certain courses or receive exemptions from subjects. Schools in Europe recognize a student's learning achievements through this national interpretation of higher education.
